The Arkreen Network monthly report is published monthly to share latest developments in the community, technology development, and market expansion of the Arkreen Network. Thank you for your attention and support of Arkreen Network. The following details highlight the latest progress of the Arkreen Network.
Development Progress
1 Arkreen Network v1.9.0 is released. This version includes the following updates:
· Replacing the Capacity attribute with Peak Power to better indicate a miner’s green energy generation capability
· Arweave as the secondary decentralize storage for green energy data
· Some user experience optimization for Arkreen Explorer and Console dApps
· Some database optimisation to improve user experience
· Some bugfixes
2 Green Energy Generation Category-Standard Miner (Smart Dongle-Classic/Smart Dongle-Pro/CT Meter-Classic)
·Smart Dongle-Classic:
The first installation video has been released. The first batch of field trial sites is installed and undergoing testing.
·Smart Dongle-Pro:
Internal comprehensive testing is undergoing.
·CT Meter-Classic:
The first installation video has been released. The first field trial site is installed and undergoing testing.
3 Energy Consumption Category-Smart Plug
·Smart Plug:
In addition to Green Energy Generation Category, a new Energy Consumption Category is currently in development, which includes a new formfactor Smart Plug Miner as one of its components. It is a smart plug that can calculate how much energy an electrical appliance consumes as well as schedule the power supply remotely. Smart plug would extend Arkreen’s supply side of green energy data from energy generation to energy consumption and further incentivise people to save energy consumption and also support the demand response for virtual power plant use case.
4 AREC Dapp
· Completed thte development of AREC Bridge feature on Polygon testnet. AREC bridge supports bridging traditional RECs in the physical world into the Web3 crypto world.
· Completed the development of AREC Port feature on Polygon testnet. AREC Port enables users to greenize one’s power consumption in daily life in just one on-chain transaction, in which the user pays some crypto token to buy ART tokens first, and then offsets the ART token to create a climate action, at last mints an AREC badge based on the climate action. AREC Port wraps all the processes and operations in a one-click transaction to make it extremely easy, feasible and accessible to offset one’s carbon footprint.
· AREC Dapp is upgraded to support multiple ART tokens induced by AREC Bridge.
