Arkreen Network Upgrade and Migration!

Arkreen Network Upgrade and Migration!

Today we are announcing a planned, temporary pause of public access to the Arkreen Network ecosystem. This is a deliberate, strategic maintenance window to migrate core services, consolidate data flows, and deploy a set of long‑pending improvements that will materially increase stability, predictability and scaleability for every participant in our network. This is not a reaction, it is a reset. We have collected six months of necessary improvements and are using a single, controlled migration to deliver them together. The result will be a faster, more resilient Arkreen, with clearer reward mechanics, fewer intermittent failures, and a foundation built for the next phase of growth in 2026 and 2027.

Why we are doing this now

Contextual pressure from the infrastructure market. The data and provisioning landscape has shifted rapidly, driven by AI demand and changing business models among decentralized storage providers. Some IPFS vendors have altered services or consolidated, creating both risk and opportunity. We must adapt now to avoid fragmentation later.

Accumulated product improvements. Over the last six months we prioritized a set of quality of life and systemic changes that require a coordinated pause. Implementing them piecemeal would have caused repeated interruptions. Doing them together minimizes total downtime and maximizes long term uptime.

Strategic preparation for scale. Arkreen is preparing to roll out new modules and integrations, including groundwork for eCandle, PowerYield, and enhanced solar monitoring for CSP and Energy Nodes. A clean, modernized stack reduces friction for future features and partner integrations.

What is changing, in plain terms

  1. Rewards model for CSP Smart Meter solar installations
We are decoupling CSP solar rewards from correlated remote miner sales, and instead anchoring rewards to location energy generation data. This removes reward downtimes tied to miner sales, and creates a continuous, generation-based reward stream for solar owners.
  2. PGP Power Plug lifecycle adjustments
As PGP devices approach their second year lifecycle, we are trimming reward curves to preserve long-term utility capture and prevent dilution. Users will still benefit from offset increases, but the reward profile will be more sustainable.
  3. Data and storage migrations
We are moving parts of our storage and provisioning to faster, more reliable providers. Some IPFS endpoints will be replaced or consolidated. These are technical changes, mostly invisible to users, but they materially improve retrieval times and reduce intermittent failures.
  4. UI and microservice improvements
When the ecosystem returns, the UI will feel cleaner, and many small services that occasionally act up will run smoother. Expect fewer timeouts, faster dashboards, and more consistent telemetry.
  5. Foundation for future integrations
We are laying the groundwork for tighter solar monitoring, improved CSP and Energy Node interoperability, and pre-integration work for upcoming Arkreen modules and partner services.

Timeline, impact and what you should expect

Planned pause start: immediate announcement, migration begins within the next 24 hours.
Estimated downtime window: we expect the ecosystem to be unavailable for public access for a limited, defined period. We estimate the core transition to be completed within 10 days, at least to the point of opening "the gates" again, while we expect still some ongoing service improvements to be rolled in gradually after.
User impact: Access to the live environment will be suspended during migration while reward accounting will be paused. No user funds or device ownership will be lost. Some reward calculations will be paused during the migration. Where rewards accumulation is paused and lifecycles apply, these will also be paused, so there is no net loss. Due to the transitioning of the entire ecosystem, it is not possible to re-estimate any rewards during the migration period as all on-chain and server set services will be at a complete halt.
Post-migration: phased reactivation, with priority given to solar telemetry, reward reconciliation, and device connectivity. UI updates and performance improvements will be visible immediately after services come back online.

We will publish a detailed migration log and reconciliation report after the migration completes, so partners and auditors can verify outcomes.

Reassurance, safeguards and support

Data integrity is non-negotiable. All migrations are being executed with checksums, versioned backups, and rollback plans. We will not cut corners. If any unexpected issue arises, we will revert to the last known good state and re-evaluate.

Rewards and balances. No balance will be lost. Where reward calculations are affected after the pause, we will reconcile and credit accounts retroactively. The CSP solar decoupling is a net benefit for solar owners, removing reward downtime risk.

Operational transparency. We will publish status updates in case of any delays or timeline adjustments to our Discord and Telegram where necessary. After the migration, we will release a technical summary for partners and a plain-language summary for users.

Support channels. Our support team will remain available to all users via the Discord ticket system. For urgent partner inquiries, contact our operations desk and we will prioritize responses.

Final note and outlook

This migration is a strategic investment in reliability and scale. Arkreen has grown into a complex ecosystem, and complexity without consolidation is fragility. We are choosing consolidation now, so we can move faster later.

Expect a smoother experience, fewer interruptions, and a rewards system that better reflects real energy generation. Expect Arkreen to be ready for the next wave of integration and growth in 2026 and 2027.

Thank you for your trust and patience. We will keep communication clear and frequent until the migration is complete.

Sincerely,
The entire Arkreen Network team!

Quick FAQ

  • Will I lose my devices or data? No. Devices remain registered to their owners, and data is backed up and versioned.
  • Should I prepare anything? For the most part, not necessarily, you might want to use the AREC ART issuance still now, while it is available in the current state. The energy there will not be lost, but it might take longer until it gets available in the new system, so best to issue it now to remove friction.
  • Will rewards be lost during the pause? No. Rewards are paused during the migration, but no existing value will be removed.
  • Why the short notice? We consolidated multiple necessary changes into a single migration window to minimize total disruption. Market shifts in provisioning required a timely response.
  • How will I get updates? Follow our official channels on X and the website, and check the Arkreen Discord announcements for status updates and the post-migration report.
