Arkreen hits another ATH milestone with 100GWh ART consumed for on-chain offsets, soaring from 40GWh in just two months! The celebration features a GreenBTC V2 preview test mission, a 500 ART weekly giveaway, and a call for CSP Community Impact Ambassadors!

2.1 DePIN Drinks Lisbon
At the second edition of DePIN Hub’s IRL meetup series, “DePIN Drinks,” Leo, founder of Arkreen, delivered a keynote titled “A Global Network for Local Solar Energy” on July 3rd in Lisbon, bridging institutions, municipalities, and DePIN builders.
2.2 DePIN Summit
Arkreen founder @linyao01 participated in the DePIN Summit 2024 in NYC, showcasing how DePIN + ReFi is revolutionizing renewable energy and Public Goods, driving global public infrastructure growth.
2.3 DePIN DAY Brussels
On July 10th, Arkreen founder Leo Lin (@linyao01) joined David Vorick (Glow) and John Calian (Riddle&Code/RDDL) in DEPIN DAY Brussels for an insightful panel on “Monetizing Energy Data: DePIN + Renewable Energy,” moderated by Dayon Elings, discussing how DePIN drives renewable energy adoption through various incentive mechanisms.
2.4 NOVAX Global Investmatch Carnival 2024 Main Forum
At the NovaX Global Investmatch Carnival 2024 Main Forum on August 28, Arkreen founder Leo Lin emphasized that the DePIN sector, a blend of software and hardware, relies on Web3’s economic incentives and robust hardware infrastructure, positioning Hong Kong as a key growth hub for DePIN in the Greater Bay Area.
2.5 Arkreen partners with A123 Systems at RE+ US
Arkreen partners with A123 Systems to showcase DePIN energy storage innovation at RE+, North America’s largest clean energy event. Residential energy storage integrates with IoT & blockchain through Arkreen’s DePIN as a key DeGEN use case. An active P2P energy trading market is emerging, expanding energy data monetization in a VPP program, driving the future of decentralized energy networks.

2.6.1 DePIN Tech Stack Day #Token2049
On September 17, 2024, at #TOKEN2049’s DePIN Tech Stack Day, thought-provoking talks led by Luis Gruson (Kwil), Ivy Peng (Open Infra Capital), Andrew Bixler (Powered), Merlin M. O (Arkreen), and Hugo Feiler (Minima) delved into the key question: “Why DePIN, not PIN?” Recordings are available here for those who missed the event.

On September 19, 2024, the DeEnergy Token2049 Side Event, co-hosted by Arkreen, PowerPod, SRCFUL, Daylight, and DeCharge, featured insightful discussions with industry leaders including Giuseppe De Luca (IoTeX), Matthew Fontana (Streamr), Mark Ballandies (WiHi), and moderated by Fredrik Ahlgren (Srcful), focusing on “The ‘P’ in DePIN: Progress or Passing Fad?” alongside a panel led by Du Yu (Future3 Campus) with speakers Sascha Kubisch (Penomo), Dylan Bane (Messari), Ting Du(PowerPod), Jaou Toure (Huma), and Leo Lin (Arkreen), addressing the challenges and opportunities in scaling DePIN-based RWAs in energy, data, and finance.

3 Arkreen CSP Program
3.1 CSP Staking
The successful CSP staking trial ran in Q3, featuring two exciting rounds. The first trial from June 18 to July 18 , while the second round from July 18 to August 18. Participants could choose from staking options of 30, 60, 90, or 180 days, earning shared rewards by staking AKRE to support the CSP program.
3.2 CSP Gallery
By the end of Q3, we had 70 plant miners from 30 countries and regions participating in our CSP project. So far, 48 sites have successfully launched and sold out their corresponding remote miners! You can visit the link below to learn more about CSP and become a new climate star in the CSP community.
4 Arkreen PGP Program
Since 2023, Arkreen PGP smart plugs have been widely used in over 30 countries, including the US, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, and various Asian regions. In Q3, the ‘Plug for Green Program’ officially launched globally, allowing users to offset real-time brown energy, like Tesla charging, through smart plug technology and tokenized RECs on-chain. Additionally, Arkreen partnered with AquaSave to promote carbon neutrality in DePIN networks, fostering a sustainable future.
5 AKRE Simple Staking
In Q3, we hosted four rounds of the Arkreen AKRE Simple Staking Trial, each offering exciting rewards and staking options: Round 3 (June 28 UTC 08:00 — July 28 UTC 08:00) featured 2000 ART rewards for 30-day or on-demand staking; Round 4 (July 29 UTC 08:00 — Oct 27 UTC 08:00) attracted over 50 million AKRE staked, with 1300 ART rewards distributed across two pools: 90 days for 1000 ART (24,216,150.484 AKRE) and 60 days for 300 ART (12,459,945.196 AKRE); Round 5 (Aug 26 UTC 08:00 — Sep 25 UTC 08:00) transitioned unwithdrawn AKRE from Round 3 into a new 30-day pool, offering 100 ART in rewards; and Round 6 (Sep 30 UTC 08:00 — Nov 29 UTC 08:00) recorded 330,000 AKRE staked, with rewards of 250,000 AKRE for 60 days and 80,000 AKRE for 30 days.
6 GreenBTC
In Q3, GreenBTC.Club marked a pivotal transition from V1 to the V2 preview stage. GreenBTC V1 successfully achieved its key milestones, including significant partnerships with Arkreen, Greenland Financial Technology, and Singapore Nava Data to develop a comprehensive carbon credit mechanism for buildings under the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s NovA! platform. Over the course of V1, we reached 100K ART tokenized RECs and offset 100 GWh of Bitcoin’s carbon footprint in just 8 months. The handover to GreenBTC V2 preview began with the launch of the Preview Trial on August 15th, introducing exciting new features like GEM, kWh, PEPE, Telegram and TON’s Green Ecosystem.

The traditional energy model is being disrupted by AI and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). Centralized regional grids hold significant control over energy pricing and market access, limiting the full potential of DERs and the development of a global DER network.
